Shipping

Please allow 2-3 business days for your items to be packaged and shipped.

Our shipping prices are calculated through our website utilizing either UPS or USPS. Prices will vary with item weight, box size, and shipping address. A tracking number is provided via e-mail once the items are picked up by the carrier. Shipping times will vary due to carriers.

Arrival Times

It’s a tough question and the answer depends on where you live! Our pottery ships anywhere from within a day or two of purchase to a few weeks for specialty items or large orders. We’re a small studio, and we’re shipping from the most remote archipelago in the world (Hawai’i). In today’s modern world, you will, on average, have your piece by 1-2 weeks from the shipment date. If you need your pottery by a certain date, please reach out to us at holly@kailuapotters.com

Lost Items

Items lost during shipping are eligible for replacement. Please contact the shipping service used and your local post office to see if they are holding the item before contacting us. If the item still has not turned up contact us via email at holly@kailuapotters.com. Please provide a tracking number indicating that the item was not delivered. Items shown as delivered are not eligible for replacement. 

Damaged Items

We are so sorry! As much as we try to avoid it, items can be damaged upon arrival. If this is the case, you are eligible for a replacement. Please contact us via email at holly@kailuapotters.com with a photo of your damaged item. Items displaying damaging due to shipping will be replaced free of charge to the customer. Items without a photo cannot be considered for a refund.

Online Returns & Exchanges

Unless your item(s) arrived broken, we are unable to offer returns or exchanges. If something does not meet your expectations, or you have any questions about your purchase, please contact us at holly@kailuapotters.com.

Are your pieces microwave or dishwasher-safe?

Yes! Unless otherwise stated (looking at you, raku-fired pots), all of our functional pottery is microwave and dishwasher-safe. We will be extra explicit in our packaging and in the item description if a piece is not. But for 99% of our items, yes – go ahead and stick them in the microwave and dishwasher. Safety first!
